Table des Artistes: An inspired dinner at a New York gallery
This December, Artsper partnered with Spoak to host an intimate dinner for creatives at Black Wall Street Gallery in New York. Nestled in Manhattan’s Chelsea district, the gallery was the perfect gathering space, complete with a candlelit three-course meal, design-centered conversation and 20 stylish guests. Pull up a seat at the Table des Artistes and keep reading to explore the space.

A long time coming
Spoak and Artsper first began working together in 2021 to create a design challenge for art-lovers and interior designers alike. Founded by Hilah Stahl, Spoak is an interior design tool that allows anyone to uncover the art of interior design, melds perfectly with Artsper’s commitment to accessibility in the arts. And so it was decided: the two brands would host a dinner to discuss just that. Together with Kate Pauley of Create Dinners, Table des Artistes was born.
Artsper’s core partnerships will always be with galleries, and Black Wall Street Gallery created the perfect setting for an intimate and art-filled dinner. Surrounded by art by Marc Andre and Brandon Tellez, guests were greeted by a dreamy dinner setting. Among the decor? Candles and linens from Misette and Madre Linen, Las Californias gin cocktails and food by Rachel Snyder.

An art-filled atmosphere
Guests were seated and encouraged to choose a swatch of color and describe how it would define their evening. As they discussed, courses of squash bisque, winter salad and pomegranate glazed beef or cauliflower were served.
Among the attendees were interior designers, magazine directors, stylists and influencers, each hand-picked due to their vested interest in and commitment to art. You can read about guests Bailey Li and Ksenia Kagner on Artsper. Conversations among the creatives centered themselves around each woman’s career path, current inspirations and what’s next for 2023.

A night to remember
The night wound down with coconut cakes and the emptying of wine bottles. As guests departed, they were treated to an Artsper tote bag, filled with Spoak goodies and an original work of art from Artsper’s very own Gabrielle Rul. Gabrielle’s naive style plays on everyday shapes and the magic of the everyday. In the work she created especially for the Table des Artistes, two characters are seen cheersing amidst wine stains.
With hearts and stomachs full, that’s a wrap on Artsper’s first-ever US event. Will you be at the next one?
