The Musée d’Orsay sheds light on street posters, an often-overlooked art form. Featuring over 300 works by masters such as Toulouse-Lautrec, Mucha, and Steinlen, the exhibition highlights the rise of this art in the 19th century and its role in reflecting social and cultural transformations. Both commercial and political, these posters offer a fascinating glimpse into the Belle Époque.
Co-organized with the French National Library, this is the first large-scale exhibition dedicated to street posters.

The Louvre presents LOUVRE COUTURE, an innovative exhibition where 65 haute couture creations by Balenciaga, Lagerfeld for Chanel, and Iris van Herpen interact with historical artworks from the Middle Ages to the Renaissance. Spanning 9,000 m², the exhibit explores how contemporary fashion reinterprets historical materials and techniques, from Boulle furniture to intricate tapestries. To mark the 40th anniversary of Christo and Jeanne-Claude’s Pont Neuf Wrapped, artist JR will unveil a monumental new project. The Pont Neuf will be transformed into a spectacular cave-like structure, creating the illusion of rock formations bridging the Seine. Inspired by Christo and Jeanne-Claude’s approach, this project—developed in collaboration with their foundation—will be visible day and night, offering an immersive experience merging history and contemporary urban nature.

The Philharmonie de Paris pays tribute to disco with the exhibition Disco, I’m Coming Out. Dive into the history and culture of the genre, born in the 1970s in the U.S. More than just music, disco was a vehicle for emancipation, particularly for LGBTQ+ communities, and influenced artists worldwide. The exhibit features archives, photos, costumes, and objects, alongside a soundtrack mixed by Dimitri from Paris. On December 18, 2024, Claire Tabouret’s project to modernize the stained glass windows of six chapels in Notre-Dame was selected by the Élysée and the Archbishop of Paris.
