An overview of ARTe Wiesbaden
The ARTe Wiesbaden will open the doors of the RheinMain CongressCenter for its fifth year in the heart of the city this fall. The event has established itself in the world of art fairs due to its unique experiential nature. In the metropolitan center of Germany, the ARTe Wiesbaden highlights the artistic talent of native RheinMain artists and beyond for visitors coming from near and far.
This year, the ARTe Wiesbaden will host a record 140 galleries and individual artists. Visitors can expect to interact closely with participating artists. The representation ranges from established artists such as Milanda de Mont and Anke Rohde to emerging talents such as Jonas Deubelbeiss. There will also be some returning faces, such as Robert Balke, who has participated in the fair since its inception. Managing director Andreas Kerstan is enthusiastic about these participants as he credits them for the recognition that the autumn fair has gained over the years.
What will be on view
Contemporary sculptures, paintings, drawings, photographs, and installations fill the RheinMain CongressCenter, and art enthusiasts can enjoy these works from a well-curated mix of galleries and artists of the region and abroad. In addition to contemporary art, works of classical modern art will be presented by galleries and art dealers, including Kunst-Schaefer of Wiesbaden and the BernARTgasse gallery of Vienna. For three days, visitors can wander the 5,000 square meter space to take in the unique artwork that surrounds them, meet fellow art-lovers, and explore the great cultural center of Wiesbaden.
