The Villa Molitor, a new meeting place for artists in Paris

molitor

There is something new going on in the Parisian artistic scene! A new artists’ residency opened its doors in the capital, at the Villa Molitor. A particularity about this project, is that this artists’ residency can be visited, the opportunity to discover and preview the work of young contemporary artists, or even observe the artists in the process of creating. The opening of this space of creation is a continuation to the past of the Molitor Pool. In fact, after it was abandoned in 1989 and until its rehabilitation in 2014, the pool became a reference point of Parisian street art, a real ground of expression for international artists, from the New York legend “Seen” to Parisian “Psyckoze”. A renaissance that you should not miss for any reason, especially because the Villa Molitor will host the famous duo of artists from New York, FAILE, for its first exhibition.

Where? Villa Molitor, 2 Rue de la porte de Molitor, 75016 Paris

When ? Opening Thursday March 16, 2017, visits by appointment from Wednesday to Sunday from 1 pm to 6 pm
